Shared habits with roommates: dailio’s take on close-quarters accountability
Living together means cues are everywhere: dishes, sleep schedules, workouts, groceries. A social habit tracker can help—or turn the hallway into a scoreboard. dailio is designed for habits with friends and trusted housemates, with defaults that favor consent. The product is still in development; we are launching soon and still hardening invite flows and visibility rules.
Pick habits that respect boundaries
Not every routine should be co-tracked. Shared movement or cooking might be welcome; sleep or mental health habits might need to stay private. dailio supports solo habits with the same UI quality as shared ones so you are never nudged to overshare.
House rules for digital accountability
- Explicit invites—no surprise visibility.
- Low-pressure encouragement in the Social tab.
- Clear streak rules so everyone knows what “done” means.
